American Ombudsman Enterprises welcomes general corporate inquiries and
inquiries from labor organizations, employers, employer associations,
labor-management committees and other authorized stakeholders interested in
collectively bargained workers’ compensation alternative dispute
resolution.
Since 1994, AOE has helped labor and management develop and operate
workers’ compensation ADR Programs. Services offered include Program
planning and implementation, day-to-day Program administration, ombudsman
services, mediation and arbitration support, case-management systems and
related dispute-resolution services.

Questions involving an existing workers’ compensation claim, ADR
case, pending dispute, Program form or request for participant assistance
should be directed to the
Office of the Ombudsman.

Do not use this form to submit a claim, appeal, grievance, arbitration
request, medical record, legal filing or another document subject to a
deadline. Submission through this general corporate form does not
constitute filing within an ADR Program or the ordinary state
workers’ compensation system.
Considering a workers’ compensation ADR Program?
Labor-management groups exploring a new ADR Program may use this form to
request introductory information or arrange a preliminary discussion. The
inquiry does not need to contain a complete Program proposal.
When available, it is helpful to identify:
- The participating labor organization or organizations.
- The employer, employer group, association or project.
- The applicable state or jurisdiction.
- The approximate number of workers who may be covered.
- The current stage of labor-management discussions or bargaining.
- The anticipated planning or implementation schedule.
- The administrative or dispute-resolution services being considered.
